Last month thanks to our suppliers we gave away 2 waka ama training diaries and a 'crew special' personalised diary for a six person crew donated by KinEli Publishing, 2 Majestic Letterman Jackets, rrp $250 each donated by Elite Sports NZ and a $50 Prezzy Card donated by New Zealand Post. This month we have prizes supplied by Moana Nui, Aquanaut NZ and New Zealand Post to be drawn on 31 August.

Koroneihana Hoe Results
We would like to thank all paddlers and their supporters who came to our event during the annual Koroneihana, in particular our Christchurch paddlers who flew up the night before to paddle with us. Conditions were foggy at the start and then sunny as the race wore on. There was good racing in both the 10km and 14km with lead changes throughout the race. Tupu King was the fastest man and too good on the day backing up his good result in Tahiti. Nicky Kingi had a solid race staying in front of the local women paddlers.

Ohope Beach Waka Ama Ironman Ocean Challenge
PLEASE NOTE that the REGISTRATION close off date for the Ohope Beach Ironman Ocean Challenge Events has now been extended to Midnight, Friday 13th, September 2013. The Event organisers trust this two week extension will help accommodate the late comers.

Waka for sale
Selling my hurricane its $2,500 full carbon got a lot of cosmetic work scratches and patch paint but doesn't leak.
