Outward Bound Scholarship Announcement
As many of you will be aware, we are very fortunate to have a great relationship with Outward Bound New Zealand. Each year they provide Waka Ama members with the opportunity of scholarships. This year Outward Bound attended our National Sprint Championships and were very impressed by the event.

300-paddler start line spans harbour
The surface of Raglan's harbour was streaked with colour on Saturday. Just under 700 competitors flocked to the 20th annual Whaingaroa Hoe waka ama competition, which includes 8, 12 and 24-kilometre races. Source Waikato Times
