AROCA 29 July W1 & W2 Series, Get your entries in

Okahu Bay will be the venue for the next W1 race, get entries in. Hauraki are hosting this race and look forward to some great races.

Congratulations to all teams who completed the course. We had our official boat measure between 22-23km for the course. Was a big achievement for all teams who took part.

AROCA W6 Okahu Bay to Maraetai Race still on.

The weather forecast has been looked at and conditions are set to improve Saturday morning so the race is still on. Spray skirts will be compulsory for all races. Please ensure all teams are prepared for cold weather. Any questions please email [email protected]

Waka Ama Safety Course Napier Cancelled

The safety course scheduled for Saturday 15th July has been cancelled. This will be rescheduled and the new date advised.

Tui Tonga Canoe Club Compound Vandalism

It is with sadness to report that the Tui Tonga Canoe Club compound in Mangere Bridge was again attacked and vandalized last week by persons unknown. We have worked really hard to organise a safe place to store our canoes and it is hugely disappointing that this occurred while many of our members were away representing Tonga at the IVF Tahiti World Distance Championships last week.

The account number currently noted on the Panui is incorrect. All payments are to be paid to: Ngahuru Charitable Trust 03-0584-0295411-02 Reference “Mata” followed by team name Payment needs to be received no later than Wednesday 5 July 2017. Payment will not be accepted on the day of the event. No payment – no paddle. If Clubs have already made payment they will need to check their accounts to see if the payment has been reversed.
