Te Heke

A great month for getting back into distance events and the ideal one to top it off at the tail end of the month ....Te Heke, the singles (or double canoe ) relay race around Waiheke Island featuring Tupu, Nicky K., Bernie Murch, Richard and Ngaire Pehi plus a number of other well known paddlers. Te Heke make it easy, providing a shuttle service for your team and it's waka across to the island from Maraetai, and if you haven't got your own support boat, we'll source you one. This race can be made easy by having more members in your team, 5 if you like. Check out their Facebook page "Te heke waiheke island circumnavigational race February 2019" or their website www.theheke.co.nz or tel: (021) 960002
