Are you an experienced Co-ordinator that would be excited about working within a diverse Tertiary environment? The successful candidate will have great communication skills as they will be required to liaise with the programme kaiako. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all relevant resources needed to run this programme are organised and readily available.

Volunteer schedule is confirmed for all clubs. Note a new weigh in time and day is available. Friday 3.30 - 6.30. There is a water station on site so recommend all paddlers bring drink bottles to fill rather than plastic water bottles.

Thank you to all who travelled to Kaiteretere which for those from the south was no easy feat given the road closures along the way. Ngā mihi nui to our club members who helped with the event, especially Stefan, Denise, Roni, Dave, Birgit, Eri, Remko, Koro Tom, Amiria and Whetū (WANZ) who were there both days giving it heaps. Thanks to our sponsors Kaiteriteri recreation Reserve Board, Wakatū Inc, Waka Abel Tasman, Abel Tasman Eco tours, NMIT, Ian Trafford photos, TDC Harbour Master and Maritime NZ for the spot prizes. Congrats to the new club from Mangawhai taking the club trophy this year. Watch this space as next year is our 20th anniversary for this event so we might mix it up a bit.

Last chance to enter the iconic Cathedral Cove Challenge! Entries close at midnight on Tuesday 5 November, so get your entries in! This is a 2-day event, with a 25 km race along the stunning coastline, past Cathedral Cove, on Saturday 9 November. The entry fee includes a free dinner plus a prize giving with lots of awesome spot prizes. Sunday's event is a 15 km paddle to Cathedral Cove and back for W1 and W2, plus there is a shorter race for W6 Juniors and novices. This is one race you don't want to miss!
