The event schedule is online now so crews can confirm availability and waka allocations. The 21km has been split into two races to allow crews to share waka. If your club has W6 waka for International crews to hire email: [email protected] also any OC1, OC2 or V1 as we have a number of Internationals hoping to compete in the Sunday relay.

Thank you for attending the 2019 TUOTR Regional W1 Sprint Trials. This year we had our greatest registration yet with 260 paddlers and we were very grateful to host the event back at the beautiful Lake Whakamarino, Tuai. Thank you to everyone for making this event a great success, including our amazing volunteers who helped on the day. Thank you also to the paddlers for working with us to get through the races. Changes have been made to schedule and lane draw. If you have any paddlers unable to race this will have to be confirmed at race admin at the event. No late entries will be accepted. Lane layout includes colours of flags so you can let you teams know. Straight races will be half lanes.

After a long two weekends Hoe Tonga Waka Ama Regionals Sprint Championships wrap up for another year at Henley Lake. Big thank you to all the volunteers and Wairarapa Waka Ama Canoe Club for hosting the event again. Thank you to all the clubs who assisted in the delivery of the event in some shape or form.
