Updated Lane Draw and Race Schedule
The updated lane draw and race schedule is now available. The issues we had with the W1 seeding is now fixed and there have been several changes to the lane draw due to changes in team entries. Please ensure you check the draw well to ensure all appears how it should for your club/team.

South Island paddlers in search on V1's to loan at Nationals
Kia ora. Te Waka o Aoraki have 3 master men and 3 premier men seeking v1 waka for Nationals. As you can imagine bringing waka from the south island is a bit of a mission so we are hoping our waka whanau from the north island can help us out.

Article: No rest for Waka Ama crew over new year
Rotorua's Jarra Tepania said he was warned about missing out on a New Year's break. The father-of-three entered his children into the sport of waka ama two years ago, and has since spent New Year's down at Lake Okareka watching his children prepare for nationals.

W2 Surfrigger for Sale
My Baby Blue W2, made by Moana-nui Outrigger, is for sale. It’s the newest model with extra strength designed through the middle, it has been a leisure canoe and well looked after, Its about 3 years old, in good condition (Over winter it has been stored under a carport). It has no cracks or leaks, and it also has not needed any repairs (structural or otherwise).

James (Butty) Moore-morial Race 2013
Again we would like to see over 100 of our buddies joining us on the line to paddle what was James's last journey here. For those that dont know James, he was a member of the Mean DNA - Goodyear teams and was a well respected waterman with also representing NZ in waka ama and whitewater rafting. As always it is very busy during the summer so book early if you are looking for accomodation. The race is not long after the sprint season, make sure your putting in some kms as well.
