The countdown to this year’s Poor Knights Crossing open ocean paddle event is now getting serious.

Entries are flowing in but Paddlers are being asked to ensure their registrations are completed in good time with entries closing on August 15.

Updated course maps and options for all wind and weather conditions will be made available soon.  There are five course options and, thanks to an updated safety fleet and much improved operations plan, a Poor Knights Crossing race will be able to be staged in winds up to 30 knots and rough seas.  There again, it might be flat!  Take your pick!!
