Bernie Murch won the Open Womens Singles on Saturday. 5 minutes ahead of Tahitian Mildred Taha.
Yesterday the 18km race saw a few crews encouter the reef a little too closley. Nappy's Anuenue team ended up over the reef and luckely they were all safe.
My Aotearoa Oiwi team got coaght by a rougue wave and our Ama came off......Oooops. We only had 2km to go and were in 3rd place. Oh well...thats racing! we have fun!
Vaka Manu came 4th in the open mens 18km and Team Phoenix finished a close second in the master mens behind team xylo.
Next up is the junior race today and the sprints tomorow.

Hakahula - It's a pity that there wasn't a Senior Masters Division noticing some of the names in the masters OC1 12k race, Nappy Napoleon and the rest of the Anuenue team - Skin Atkins from Tai Tok.Dear Old Matuku did OK in the Masters OC6 12 and they are SNRstoo!.
