Results - Waka Fest 2008 - Harbour Challenge
Results and Photos from Saturday Harbour Challenge Race.
As you can see, conditions were glass. Overcast sky's and a gentle breeze led to some fast times throughout the day.
Numbers seemed a little down on usual with a few paddlers from the Ocean Race in need of recovery, opting to sit this one out.
Great to see some new faces on the Surf Ski front, several Surf Ski paddlers from the Ocean Race decided to stay on for the Harbour Challenge.
Team Kokiri power through to take the honours in the Open Women W6 - 26km race.

Squeeze! - Fantastic event, a well organised race and really pleasing to see alot of teams battling it out on the harbour and then getting together for hakari to cap off, Great set of results too...

Nyree - Are you able to list all results and times please for all divisions so that all teams/ singles can see their times for their hard labours?

MJ (Taniwha Wahinez) - One of the best Tauranga races I have been part of to date, had an awesome crew to do it with to! Would have liked a few more bumps on the water, but we certainly used the few we found. Lovely overcast day, perfect for long distance paddling. Well done to the organisers, and thank you too for the lovely kai and prizes. See you all next year.
