Waka Fest - Results and Photos - Ocean Race

What a fantastic way to start an inaugural event. 58 OC1 and Surf Ski paddlers hit the beach and raced the 28km from Papamoa out to Motiti Island and back.

A northerly wind greeted the paddlers as they headed to Motiti, there was hardly any swell to the disappointment of some.
