Kaihoe Whaikaha - Have a Go Day
Waka Ama NZ in collaboration with Whāingaroa Hoe will be hosting a Waka Ama Have a Go Day for all tāngata whaikaha (people with disabilities) following the 2025 Whaingaroa Hoe.
This is an awesome opportunity to try out the sport of waka ama. Bring your family along to join in the fun.

Please bring:
- Aqua shoes, jandals, or old sneakers to protect your feet across the sand.
- Rash-shirt and shorts/boardies/leggings, you don't mind getting wet.
- Change of clothes
- Sun hat, sunscreen, warm clothing, and your drink bottle
- Cost: FREE!
