The executive discussed options in the event of the cancellation. Unfortunately, we feel the opportunity to hold this event again before the end of the year not possible. We will therefore look towards the 2021 Waikato Awa race and hope the COVID is a thing of the past.

Hoe Tonga Paddler Series Race 3 Moved

Unfortunately in light of the government restrictions due to Covid 19, it has been decided that the 3rd race scheduled in Whanganui on September 5th will be cancelled. Therefore the next race of the Hoe Tonga Paddler Series will be hosted at the Manawatu Boating Club at Foxton Beach on October 17th. This event is still currently being planned and organised and more information regarding this event will come in due course.

POSTPONED - Ngā Hoe Horo Winter Series Mauri o Omāpere

Tēnā rā tātou katoa, After some deliberation the Ngā Hoe Horo Exec have agreed to postpone this weekends race until August 15th. Due to the nehu for Jim Herbert, a kaumātua for our club and grandpa to many of our members and race organisers being set for this Friday, the committee will not have the time needed for final race preparations. We would like to thank all of the TTPCA and AROCA clubs who have registered and hope to see you all in a fortnight at Omāpere.
