Outstanding New Zealand success at the 17th IVF World Elite and Club Sprint Championships
Lake Kawana , Sunshine Coast Australia, Last week played host to the International Va’a Federation World Sprint Championships! This was the 17th edition of the Championships which saw the best of the best from 23 countries and 2200 paddlers battle it out on the water for world championship titles.

Whaingaroa Hoe 2016 Race Report
It was a great turn out to the 22nd Annual Whaingaroa Hoe, with 100 teams representing 30 Clubs. Continuing along with the luck of recent years we were also blessed with amazing weather. Thank you to all of you who returned for another year and to the many first time paddlers at Whaingaroa, we hope to see you back in 2017. See attached race report.

Last night we paid special tribute to those ANZACs who sacrificed so much so we could be here today, paddling on ANZAC Day. A special thank you to Hellen Messenger who handmade all of our poppies for the guests last night at our dinner Elite Team Dinner.
