Hauraki Summer Series 2017 - Race 3 Results

Hauraki Waka Ama whānau would like to thank all those who participated in this event. It began with a beautiful sunset out on Te Moananui a Kiwa followed by an eventful day of racing. Paddlers were greeted with some good swells along the beach at the start of each race and some great bumps were caught on the way back in.

Te Wānanga o Aotearoa National Secondary School Waka Ama Finals Day!

Congratulations to all of the teams that raced during what was a wonderful week of Secondary School Waka Ama. Thank you to the 100 plus schools coming from all over Aotearoa, a special mention to all of the managers, coaches, mums, dads, bus drivers and everyone that made it possible for our students to attend the event. Last but not least thank you to our major sponsor Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and to the massive crew at Te Waiariki Purea Trust for putting together a truly spectacular event. Event information has been updated with new event hosts Ocean Blue and Pakuranga OCC confirmed. There are still dates available to host so please get in contact. W1 Race scheduled for Easter Friday has been postponed to the Saver date in July due to no host available. Still time to get entries in for this Saturdays event so come along to Birkenhead in either the 5km or 15km race.
