It was a beautiful day with good conditions. The first race was W1, W2, Novices and Junior W6, 4.5 km out in the bay and return, 9 km all up. The second race was W6 Men, women and Mixed.. Competitors headed out from Buffalo Beach and paddled out and around Center Island and back again. About 15 km in total. Thanks everyone for travelling to Whitianga for the day, especially to the crew from Taranaki. Well done to all competitors!!
