Thanks for everyone who came and supported our race today. The weather gods were very good to us, keeping those dark thunder clouds to the west. The heavy rain coming down in bucket loads only after the prizing giving when everyone was going home. The river level and currents were up and the day was fairly warm. Lots of close racing and a good time had by all. Tai paddle spot prizes went to Mitch Zandstra - Hoe Aroha Whanau o Mauaao and Evette Hetet - Te Toki as drawn by the kids.
