COVID-19 Alert Level 2 - Example of Club Operations Process

Thanks to our awesome whānau at Tauranga Moana OCC, we have attached their club's operational process they have created as New Zealand moves into COVID-19 Alert Level 2 and club training can commence.

TMOCC processes are very thorough and take paddlers through each step from:

  • using club canoes and gear (lifejackets, paddles etc)
  • how to ensure contact tracing measures are followed - i.e. a sign in/out sheet
  • Greetings/Goodbyes
  • the process for cleaning and disinfecting gear

TMOCC do have a building/facility that they use, so guidelines may differ if that is not the case for your club.

This information is extremely important moving forward for every club. Having a clear set of guidelines, ensuring they are communicated and adhered to is crucial during level 2.
