Description
14th Portage Crossing is still running as a commemorative regatta and journey leaving from Kohimarama Bay around 9am. There are no fees as this is not a race. Paddlers will participate in the opening of new club rooms at Panama Road and then continue to Mangere Bridge via Portage Road and participate in the powhiri by Tainui at the MUMA/Portage festival at Mangere Bridge. We look forward to hosting this race next year
The Portage Crossing is significant to our club, and also the commitment we have made to others, we will continue the journey as a commemoration only.
