These are the times from the two harbours and then added….please add two hours for the road section, a hour waiting for back markers and a hour journey….making the journey for all around 5 and a half hours…Hence the hangi and refreshments provided much needed sustenance. 

Thank you to all paddlers and supporters that did the 13th Portage Crossing, and to all those that did the work behind the scenes, that cooked the hangi, the rescue boat operators, the Police, time keepers, festival organisers, band members, cultural groups, sponsors such as Mainfrieght, fourwinds, MUMA, Manukau Courier, Auckland City Council, Hustle management, Tainui Kaumatua and Ngati whatua Kaumatua, Maori Wardens, our photographer, and all the spectators that turned up for the day…
