Results and photos from the Hoe Tonga Matariki race

Thank you to all our sponsors and those who helped out with the organising of Matariki and on the day assistance, your help was much appreciated.

Special thanks goes out to Trish Prentice who was apart of our Matariki Organising Team again this year. Trish used to be a paddler many years ago and no longer paddles with any of the regional clubs but has each year kindly volunteered her time and experience to assist with successfully running another great regional event.

Also many thanks to Nga Tekau o Poneke Sport & Culture Club in Petone – Vicki Hollywell our newest up and coming growing club who have in their short time being affiliated to Hoe Tonga have actively contributed to the regions growth by assisting with the successful running of major events within the region.

We hope to bring to you another fantastic Matariki Waka Ama Event next year.
