Roto Hoe 2007 - Race 2

Roto Hoe Tuarua

Nau Mai Haere Mai ki Te Rotoiti-kite-a-Ihenga

With the blessing of Te Aurere Waka Ama Club, Ruamata Waka Ama Club with the assistance of Te Arawa Paddlers invite you to Hinehopu at the eastern end of Lake Rotoiti to race in the following special events on the Saturday 24th march 2007.

Honey Moon Bay Flyer: Due to unforeseen circumstances which are out of our control, the Experienced/Open/Senior W6, 15KM course to Pateko Island has been altered. The distance will remain the same, but you will not be racing out to Pateko Island. (Blue Course) Check out the map for the new race course.

Hinehopu Dash:
An 8KM course is set for the W1/W2/Junior and Novice participants. This course take’s you around the outskirts of Hinehopu at the base of Matawhaura, ending with a straight sprint to the finish. (Yellow Course).
All are welcome to prime yourselves for the Tauranga Harbour Challenge.

Prizes handed out on the day.

Entry Fee:
$10.00 per Adult Paddler
$5.00 per Junior/Novice Paddler
