There you have it, we are one day out from our annual NZHL Paddlez Up Gizzy 2015 and we have 50% more entries.

A BIG thank you to all the sponsors and supporters who have jumped on board to make this event rewarding for all our participants.

A special thank you to HINANO Tahiti (World Beer) for hosting the prize-giving and making a special trip down to be a part of the event. We are also excited to say that Hinano Tahiti Beer will be available from PakNSave early next week.

REMEMBER! Prize-giving is 4pm at the Wharf Bar. The first 40 people through get a FREE hinano beer.

Theme is "Tahitian" be creative wear a parau, island style shirt/dress, flower, sarong. Spot prize for the best dressed.

Finally, those travelling down & up today please drive safe especially tomorrow when travelling on the road to Kaiti Beach. We have alot of logging trucks coming along the road all day, so just take your time.

Local paddlers, the swells are set to be high in the morning, would be recommend to trailer your W6 over, just to be safe.

8.30am W6 Men 15km 
8.31am W1/W2 10km Women 
8,40am Race 1 - Surfski/SUP/Paddleboard - M Shape course - sprint
11am W6 novice / juniors 7-10km
11.10am Race 2 - Surfski/SUP - 3km Paddleboards 1500m
12.30pm W6 Women 15km  
12.31pm W1/W2 Men 10km 
12.40 - Race 3 - Surkski/SUP/Paddleboard - open water technical course
2.30pm W6 Mixed 5km (3 men / 3 women)
2.40pm 4 person Relay 2km (500m swim : 500m SUP : 500m run : 500m paddle board or W1)
4.30pm Prize giving at Wharf Bar
