Nga Tai Whakarongo Hoe Waka (NTW) is an outrigger canoe club based in Hamilton.  This club was formed in 1989 and is one of the oldest clubs in the country.  NTW has always had a close affiliation to the Waikato River, which has been our principal training ground since the clubs inception. 

A small team of life members have kept the club in operation with over 120 members ranging in age from 6 through to 60 registered in the 2013/2014 year.  Current members revived this race in 2011 and this is now our 3^rd Annual Event.

This gives participants who would like the opportunity to paddle on the Mighty Waikato, the ability to do so.

Entry Fees                     

W6 Open/Masters/Senior Masters: $25.00 per paddler

W6 Juniors / W1/ W2: $15 per paddler

If you are paddling in a W6 and W1 Race, then you pay the higher cost only
